Noerrevold school
My first drum kit was "Autocrat"I was born and grew up in Viktoriagade on Vesterbro, Copenhagen, Denmark with 4 brothers and sisters: Connie - Ingelis - Jimmy - Pia. We lived in our grandmother Dagny Christensen's appartment. Our parents names were Inge Anthony and Eli Sardorf. He was a conductor and his demand to me for starting playing drums, "learn to play from music". I took music lessons 1 year by Ove Bossing and 3 years by Ib Jarlkov (Leader of "The 3 Janizaries).
We all(my brothers and sisters) went to Noerrevold School.
In the middle school we started a schoolband. The photo is from a session at school, unfortunately I don't have any photos of the other guys.Guitar: Ingolf Olsen - Guitar: Steen Bergstroem - Piano: Erik Laurent - Singing & Tambourine: Ole Kjaersgaard - Drums: Torben Sardorf.
In the higher school class I played with Otto Sparre Hjorthoej, who played the trumpet. We performed "When the saints come marching in".
Otto Sparre Hjorthoej replaced me later on in "Medley Swingers" on drums.
Ingolf Olsen became later on famous in TV, where he was a master on lute and spanish guitar.
Later on I ran into Steen Bergstroem in The Hitmakers.
The Beefeaters on Willy's Place in Vester Voldgade.
From the left Lars Kofoed - Soeren Seirup - Irving Waldorf and my littlebrother Jimmy Sardorf, he was in from the start 1964. He started to play the guitar and as singer in The Flintones 1961.

From Strandhotellet in Sandvig, Bornholm.
My father was playing the violin as a conductor in his dance band every year on Bornholm from 1947 - 1969. Which gave us children a little more than 3 month of summer holidays every year.
Bornholm became in that way our second home.
Here is a recording from 1966 on Strandhotellet in Sandvig, Bornholm. It is dancemusic, but interesting cause Mogens "Django" Petersen, for a couple of years joined my fathers band. The first number is "How Wonderful To Know", in whitch you can recognize "Django"'s characteristic guitarsound.
It is also Django, who had recorded it on a taperecorder with only one mike. That's why the sound is a little bad. I've tried to digitalized as much as possible.
Press the Playbutton a couple of times.
